Butter Chicken

I’m spicing up my curry life! Haha!  Seriously though.   I used to make a lentil curry most Monday nights using Patak’s curry paste because it was quick and healthy. But I was getting bored with the routine and I wanted to learn more about the characteristics of different spices. A coworker told me about fenugreek and I was dying to try it. So one day, browsing YouTube cooking videos, I found this one for Butter Chicken that seemed like a good place to start. I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out great.

I served it with rice cooked with onions, garlic, turmeric and paprika and a dash of bouillon powder, shredded carrots, pak choi, fresh cilantro and raisins. It was worth every calorie!
